The work of University of Maryland American Studies students and their teacher, Dr. Mary Sies met with universal praise. Last night the group presented their end of term project a film titled, “Folk Made the School”.  The film will be presented again on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the College Park Community Center during LCHP’s celebration of Lakeland Heritage Weekend.
