Created by Stephanie Sapienza and the Lakeland Digital Archive team, Lakeland’s Heritage: A call for restorative justice, is ready to share. This new short tells the story of Lakeland using Lakelander’s voices using materials from LCHP’s Lakeland Digital Archive. We are thrilled to announce it has already been shared with event audiences in Lakeland at programs of College Park’s Restorative Justice Commission, and during the International Town Gown Association Conference held in College Park. At the invitation of world renowned Social Psychologist, Dr. Mindy Fullilove it was screened at Root Shock 20 Film Festival, University of Orange, Orange, NJ.
