7:00 PM – Friday Xtreme Teens at College Park Community Center
Saturday at College Park Community Center, 5051 Pierce Ave, College Park, MD
9:00 – Genealogy Workshop (to register call College Park Community Center at 301 441 2647)
11:00 – Unveiling of markers at Lake Artemesia for historic Lakeland with bus transportation available from College Park Community Center
1:00 to 5:00 – Reunion Picnic
Feel free to bring your own picnic meal or buy food from an on-site vender. LCHP will bake the cake. There will be a full afternoon of entertainment, antique car show, exhibits and activities for the whole family. The music for the day will be provided by DJ Sparkles. There will even be showings of the original Lakeland film “Folks made the School, on the story of Lakeland schools and students.
There will be face painting, indoor roller skating, a horseshoe tournament, classic cars and even pony rides. The day will end with a dance party featuring music of many decades and a special surprise. Our celebration cake prepared by master baker Willie Sellers will be cut at 4:00.
