College Park Community Center, 5051 Pierce Avenue, College Park, MD 20740

  • Parade through Lakeland at 12:00 PM with a viewing stand at Lakeland Park
    • All are welcome to come and cheer. Those interested in being in the parade should contact Pamela Randall Boardley at (301) 474-3855
  • Picnic following the parade
    • Picnic grounds will be  available from College Park Community Center to Lakeland Park. Bring your lunch and enjoy the afternoon with music and games provided for the whole family. Rita’s of College Park will visit with free Italian ices!

  • Trolley tour at 1:00 PM (by ticket only)
  • Heritage Theater opens at 1:00 PM
  • Jazz music by the Kash Wright Trio 2:00 PM
  • Trolley trip to Lake Artemesia 2:00 PM
  • Event ends for the day 6:00 PM

Sunday, September 19

  • Worship Service  11:00 AM on the grounds of First Baptist Church of College Park at 5018 Lakeland Road, College Park. We will be the guests of the congregation
    • Light refreshments will be served following the service
