On Saturday, June 19, 2010 LCHP will celebrate the emancipation of enslaved people in America at Watkins Regional Park in Upper Marlboro, Maryland between 12 noon and 5 pm.  The day will feature musical and inspirational performances, living history demonstrations, old-fashion games for children and adults, food vendors and exhibitors including LCHP. Musical and Dance performances will also take place on the main stage. State Senator Ulysses S. Currie, Prince George’s County Councilman Samuel H.
